Ronald Felton Paulk

Mr. Ronald Felton Paulk passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2024. He was born on March 2nd, 1952 in Douglas, Georgia to parents Quinton Paulk and Janelle Spivey Paulk. He spent the majority of his childhood in Ambrose, Georgia where he attended school and made lifelong friends. He moved to West Green, Georgia in his teens and resided there for the rest of this life. Most called him Ronnie and knew him for his love of family, farming, and fishing. He was a lifelong Christian and grateful for his blessings up to the very end. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Donna Gail Jewell Paulk. He is also survived by the four doting daughters they shared together: Kelli Paulk Harper and husband Jeffrey P. Harper of Ambrose, Georgia, Lori Paulk Johnson and husband Bodie Johnson of Alma, Georgia, Kristi Paulk Carter and husband Michael Carter of West Green, Georgia and Laci Paulk Ellis of West Green, Georgia He was blessed with eleven grandchildren: Anna Harper Lewis (Morgan Lewis), Sara Harper Heidenreich (Travis Heidenreich), Ronald Waylon Johnson (Alexis Johnson), Michael Quinton Ellis, Donna Leigh Harper, Jacob Bodie Johnson (Caeden Johnson), Maddi Olivia Ellis, Emma Sue Carter, Mathew Isom Ellis, Jerry Paulk Harper (JP), and Ethan Michael Carter. His most recent obsession was with the great grandchildren: Leila Oneda Lewis (Lo), Rylan Lee Ellis, Gwendolyn Kelli Lewis, Jeffrey Jack Heidenreich, and Vada Margaret Johnson. He was also thrilled about the upcoming arrival of three more this year. He was also survived by two beloved sisters: Maedeen Paulk Atkinson of Denton, Georgia and Faye Paulk Lott of West Green, Georgia. Ronald was a fan of warm conversation, a good joke, and strolls through his garden. He was known for his green thumb and farmed diligently for 50 years. He loved to fish on the off chance he left his farm, but loved nothing more than his family. He was a man of faith, moral fortitude, and truly lived a life of goodness. Visitation will be held at Burkett Baptist Church in West Green, Georgia on Tuesday, April 16th from 12-1pm. The funeral service will begin at 1 pm and internment will follow at Burkett Church Cemetery. Rev. George Carroll Paulk will be officiating the service and Anna Harper Lewis will present a eulogy. Rev. Marvin Paulk will officiate the graveside service.
