Mr. Paul Quincey “Buddy” Arnold, age 86 of Ambrose, GA, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 4, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Arnold was born October 2, 1929 to the late Alton Arnold and the late Lena Paul Arnold. Mr. Arnold, a native of Coffee County, was a retired Currier with SunTrust Bank having worked with them for 31 Years. He was a loving family man and he also loved being with his church family. Mr. Arnold was also preceded in death by 2 wives, Elma Stewart Arnold and Betty Varnedoe Knowles Arnold, 1 Sister, Ruby Morgan, 2 Brothers, Alton Arnold, Jr. and Clyde Arnold. Mr. Arnold was a member of Christ’s Fellowship Church. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Connie Jean Arnold of Ambrose, GA; 7 Step-Children: Janet Smith of Ambrose, GA, Elaine (Mike) Pafford, Katherine Barber, Joe (Lee) Knowles and Ashley Knowles all of Douglas, GA., Larry Knowles and Gerald Knowles both of Ellijay, GA; 4 Step-Grandchildren and 2 Step-Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives Funeral Services were held Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at Christ’s Fellowship Church with Rev. Randall Rhymes and Rev. Talmadge Paul officiating. Interment followed in the Stokesville Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: John Sturgis, Brann Dockery, Hunter Taylor, Cade Wright, Dan O’steen and Keith Wright. Special Musical Selections, “Go Rest High on That Mountain” and “Come and Dine”, were presented by the Soloist and Pianist, Rev. Michael Harper. “Pre-Lude” and “Post-Lude” soft hymns were rendered by the Pianist, Rev. Michael Harper. Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
