Mrs. Mary Lee Floyd Crozier, age 89, of Douglas passed away early Wednesday morning, October 28, 2015, at her residence, following a short illness. She was born January 14, 1926 to the late Ruben Mitchell Floyd and the late Amy Anderson Floyd Salisbury. Mrs. Crozier, a native of West Green, Coffee County, Georgia was a former Cashier with the Bluffton County, South Carolina School System. She was a member of the Hearts and Hands Quilting Group Mrs. Crozier was a member of the Southview Church of God. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Lynda Sweat of Okeechobee, Florida. 2 Sons: Hollis Crozier of Folkston,Ga., and Keith Crozier of Pine Mountain, Ga.; 2 Brothers: Henry Mitchell “Bud” Floyd of Callahan, Florida ; and J. B. Floyd of Woodstock, Ga.; 3 Sisters: Dorothy McCommons of Lancaster, PA; Josephine Lastinger of Douglas, GA and Annette McBrayer of Walterboro, South Carolina. 6 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Friday, October 30, 2015, at 4:00 P. M., at the Southview Church of God, with Rev. Hilton Martin, Rev. Benji Capps, and Rev. Darrell Smith officiating. A Special Eulogy was presented by a grandson, Wayne Farrow. The Interment followed in the Providence Cemetery, near Broxton. Active Pallbearers were: Thomas Davis, Al Wayne Hulsey, Randy Hulsey, Mike Floyd, Alex Morrison, and Eddie Dailey. Honorary Pallbearers were: Mark Anderson, Mickey Mancil, Jackie Flanagan, Donnie Brigmond, Jimmie Carver, Chuck McElroy, and the Hearts and Hands Quilting Group. Special Musical Selections, “Amazing Grace”, was presented as a Congregational Hymn, with Amy Capps, at the Piano, “This is What Heaven Means to me”, was presented by the Soloist and Pianist, Amy Capps, “Beulah Land” was presented a cappella by Wayne Farrow and “He’ll Hold to My Hand”, was presented by a CD Tape of Mary Lee Floyd Crozier. “Pre-Lude and Post-Lude Soft Hymns were rendered by the Pianist, Amy Capps. Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the Arrangements.
