Mrs. Louise May Duncan Bruce, age 85 of Broxton, GA passed away January 4, 2021 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Bruce was born July 1, 1935 to the late Frederick Duncan and the late Clara Jenks Duncan. Mrs. Duncan, a native of Wassaic, NY, was a homemaker. She was a member of Broxton Church of God. Survivors include: Her Husband: Franklin R. Bruce of Broxton, GA 2 Daughters: Tina Edge of Wray, GA Carolyn Mallery of Albany, GA 7 Siblings: Mary Wilber of Pine Plains, NY Arlene Davis of Dover Plains, NY Donna Heck of Millerton, NY June Morris of Knoxville, TN Edward Duncan of Ancramdale, NY Fredrick Duncan of Amenia, NY Richard Duncan of Ellerbe, NC 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grand Children A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends The graveside service will be held, Friday afternoon, January 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Broxton Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Joey Copeland officiating. Soft musical selections, along with “Go Rest High on That Mountain”, will be presented at the graveside service. Please Note: Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the graveside service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines. We do not furnish masks. Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
