Mrs. Lois Marie Hutto Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Lois Marie Bryant Hutto, age 87, of Douglas passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014, at the Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, following a short illness. Mrs. Hutto was born February 11, 1926 to the late Roscoe Purdom Bryant and the late Bertie Ellen Stapleton Bryant. Mrs. Hutto, a native of Coffee County, was a homemaker. Mrs. Hutto attended Eastside Baptist Church. Survivors include: 1 Son: Anthon “Buddy” (Emily) Hutto of the Snipesville Community. 3 Daughters: Dianne (Jimmy) Troupe; Wanda (David M.) Medders; and Teresa (Raymond) Hester, all of Douglas, Ga.; 2 Sisters: Annett Ward of Douglas, Ga., and Lavern Peagler of Waycross, Ga.; 1 Brother: Wendell Bryant of Douglas, Ga.; 11 Grandchildren, and 17 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 11:00 A. M., at the Eastside Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Wilkes and Dr. John Dobbins officiating. Eulogies were presented by Brian Hutto and Terry Spivey. The Interment followed in the Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Brian Hutto, Darrell Hutto, Dustin Hutto, Scott Troupe, Brock Troupe, David S. Medders, James Medders, and Shawn Hester. Special Musical Selections, “Going Home” was presented by CD Music, as the family entered and exited, “When He Was On The Cross, I Was On His Mind”, and “I Bowed On My Knees And Cried Holy”, were rendered by the Soloist, Dustin Hutto, with Taped Musical Background. Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the Arrangements.
