Mrs. Ethel Carter Musgrove, age 94 of Ambrose, GA, passed away Monday afternoon, September 19, 2016, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Musgrove was born September 17, 1922 to the late Jim Carter and the late Sarah Tanner Carter. Mrs, Musgrove, a native of the Bickley Community, was a homemaker. She enjoyed her family, grand children, great grand-children, great great grandchildren along with her church family. She enjoyed cooking for all of her family and many friends. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Eugene Musgrove, 2 Sons, Jerry Musgrove and Wallace Musgrove, 1 Daughter, Latrell M. Lott, 1 Son-In-Law, Donald Spell, 1 Grandson, Carlton Eugene Musgrove, 1 Granddaughter, Syanne Musgrove, 5 Brothers, Troy Carter, Jimmy Carter, Barry Carter, Kermit Carter and Ray Carter, 2 Sisters, Janell C. Douglas and Olean C. Dennison. She was a member of Corner Stone Church of God of Prophecy. Survivors include: 5 Sons: Paul (Alice) Musgrove of West Green, GA., Willis (Becky) Musgrove of Douglas, GA., Floyd (Shirley) Musgrove and Bill (Lou Annie) Musgrove both of Nicholls, GA., Carlton Musgrove of Cullman, AL 2 Daughters: Irma Lou Spell of Nicholls, GA., Wanda Gail (Steve) Beecher of Ambrose, GA; 1 Son-In-Law: Teddy Lott of Douglas, GA; 3 Brothers: Noah Carter of Alma, GA., Paul (Wylene) Carter of Pearson, GA., and Donald (Nell) Carter of Jacksonville, FL; 1 Sister: Betty Jo (Clinton) Westberry of Baxley, GA; 21 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and 13 Great Great Grandchildren. A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Thursday afternoon, September 22, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at Corner Stone Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Matthew McEachern and Rev. Paul Anderson officiating. The Interment followed in Roxie Mae Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Paul Eugene Musgrove, Bruce Spell, Kenny Musgrove, Burke Lott, Chris Musgrove, Andy Musgrove, Billy Burnam and Scott Musgrove. Honorary Pallbearers were members of the Congregation. Special Musical Selections, “Saved To The Uttermost”, was presented by Cameron Musgrove, Wanda Gail Beecher, Lou Annie Musgrove, and the Pianist, Cindy Musgrove, “Wish You Were Here”, was presented by Cameron Musgrove and the Pianist, Cindy Musgrove, “My Robe”, was presented by the Soloist, Susie Kirkland, with Cindy Musgrove, at the Piano. “Pre-Lude” and “Post-Lude” soft hymns were rendered by the Pianist, Cindy Musgrove, and at the Graveside, “Sweet Bye And Bye” were presented by Ashley Spell, on the Guitar and Heather Merritt, on the Mandolin. Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
