Delores M. "Dee" Stress Graham

May 1, 1940 - January 29, 2020

Ms. Delores M. “Dee” Graham, age 79 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at her home. She was born May 1, 1940 in Chicago, IL to the late William Stress and the late Helen Tobey Stress. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 plus years, Roy T. Graham and a brother James Stress. Dee was a charter member of Morningside Baptist Church where she served as the Sunday School secretary and hospitality committee chairman. Survivors include: 1 Son: Glenn Graham and wife Ginny of Douglas, GA 2 Daughters: Melissa Lott and husband Keith and Heather Lankford and husband Theron all of Douglas, GA 5 Grandchildren: Arayna McDonald, Laken McDonald, Kelsey Lott, Keagan Lott and Cadence Settles all of Douglas, GA 3 Great Grandchildren 2 Brothers-In-Law: Ocie Graham and wife Nell and Eddie Graham all of Fitzgerald, GA 2 Sisters-in-Law: Tina Graham of Fitzgerald, GA Myrtle Smith of Moultrie, GA Several Nieces, Nephews and other family and special friends The funeral service will be Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Chip Woodruff and Rev. Bill Stone officiating. The interment will follow in Douglas City Cemetery. Ms. Graham will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M. to lie in state until the time of the service. A special musical selection, “Beulah Land” will be provided by Morningside Baptist Church Choir and “I’d Rather Have Jesus” provided by the church choir and Congregation. Mrs. Kathy Whiddon will provide soft piano music for the prelude and postlude. The family will receive friends, Friday evening January 31, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home. Active Pallbearers will be: Elisha Vickers, Chris Ferris, Jerry Harper, Fred Douglas, Sr., Ken Floyd and Gerald Carver. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Good Life Sunday School Class. Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
