Arthur Andrew Rogers Jr.

Mr. Arthur Andrew Rogers, Jr., age 77 of Douglas, passed away Monday morning, September 28, 2020 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mr. Rogers was born July 13, 1943 to the late Arthur Rogers. Sr. and the late Dorothy Garvis Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeanette Rogers; a brother, Robert Rogers and a sister, June Taylor. Mr. Rogers, a native of Malone, NY, was a school bus driver for the Coffee County Board of Education. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. Mr. Rogers was a member of Covenant Christian Church. Survivors include: His Wife: Penelope Dorothy Frazita Rogers of Douglas, GA 6 Children: Anthony Jaworowski and Joseph Jaworowski both of Douglas, GA Patrick Jaworowski of Ft. Pierce, FL Sheri Henderson of Gloucester, VA Dawn Walker of Phoenix, AZ Arthur Farley of Utica, NY 3 Siblings: Wayne Rogers, Vennie Harwood and Dottie Buckley all of Woodgate, NY 10 Grandchildren 15 Great Grandchildren A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A memorial service will be held, Saturday October 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Covenant Christian Church. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Church. Memorialization will be by cremation. Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
