Arthur Wade Graham

Mr. Arthur Wade Graham, age 70, of Douglas passed away Thursday morning, September 4, 2014, at the Shady Acres Health & Rehabilitation Center, following an extended illness. Mr. Graham was born July 25, 1944 to the late J. P. Graham and the late Dorothy Courson Graham. Mr. Graham, a native of Broxton, was a retired school bus driver. He was also preceded in death by his Wife, Eva Nell Seabolt Graham, a Daughter, Daphne LaCarol Myers, 1 Sister, Allison Renee Graham, 5 Brothers, Reuben Graham, Bobby Graham, Joel Timothy Graham, James Walden Graham, and Jackie Graham. Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Teresa Callejas of Douglas, Ga. 4 Sisters: Ann Hutchinson of Hazlehurst, Ga., Virginia Busby of Fitzgerald, Ga., ; Debbie Sweat, and Gina Joiner, both of Douglas, Ga.; 7 Brothers: Tommy Graham of Moultrie, Ga., Nolan Graham, Jimmy Graham, Danny Graham, Shelton Graham, Glenn Graham, and Terry Graham, all of Douglas, Ga.; 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren. Personal Friend: James Edward Kirby of Sparta, Tennessee. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives. Funeral Services were held Sunday, September 7, 2014, at 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home, with Rev. Gerald Gardner officiating. The Interment followed in the Broxton City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers were: Joel Graham, John Graham, Tracy Graham, Stevie Graham, Anthony "Big Red" Davis, Dempsey Harper, Andy Anderson, and Scott Graham. Special Musical Selections were, "The Lily Of The Valley", by CD Music of Quentin Mills, and "Go Rest High On That Mountain", by CD Music of Vince Gill. Pre-lude and Post-lude were soft hymns by CD music. Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
