Julie Lott Roberson

Mrs. Julie Lott Roberson, age 66, of Ambrose, GA, passed away peacefully in the late evening hours of Thursday, August 13, 2026, at her residence following an extended illness. Julie was preceded in death by her parents Gwendolyn Royal Lott and Allen Francis Lott, two brothers, and a grandson, Rowdy Cook. Julie was born March 29, 1960, in Winter Park, Florida to the late Gwendolyn Royal Lott and Allen Francis Lott. Julie worked at PCC Airfoils in the injector department. Julie enjoyed riding horses, motorcycles, enjoyed going to the beach, she had a green thumb and loved working with her flowers; but most of all Julie cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren. Julie also coached her daughters’ girls’ softball team for many years. She attended New Hope Baptist Church in Ambrose, Georgia . She is survived by her loving husband of fifteen years, Jerry Thomas (Tommy) Roberson of Ambrose, Georgia; her three daughters, Jennifer O’Neal Sweat and husband Jason of Nicholls, Georgia, Jessica O’Neal and Randi Cook both of Douglas, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Terry, Ashton, Ryder, Rayne, Jaxon, Tate and River; one brother, Eric Lott of Ambrose, Georgia. Several nieces and nephews, extended family and friends also survive. Funeral Services for Julie Lott Roberson will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 17, 2026, in the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Marlon Smith and Rev. Matt Rutland officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Ambrose, Georgia. Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Henderson, Terry O’Neal, Ryder Bowen, Richard Lott, Rob Smith and Ashton Griffin. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday afternoon, August 16, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.
