Cassandra Jewell Troupe

Mrs. Cassandra Jewell Troupe, age 66 of Nashville, Georgia passed away peacefully Monday morning, May 27, 2024 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Troupe was born September 26, 1957 in Coffee County, Georgia to the late William Riley Jewell and the late Millie Ann Corbett Jewell. She was a homemaker and together with her husband, the late Larry L. Troupe, they raised 3 wonderful children. Mrs. Troupe was known for her strong will and determination. She refused to let the cares of life get her down. In her time of relaxation she could often be found sitting on her front porch and spending time with her faithful and devoted fur babies, Jimbo and Sadie. Along with her parents and her husband, Mrs. Troupe was preceded in death by a sister, Laura N. Dees; 2 brothers: Jimmy Jewell and Paul Jewell; and a great grandchild, Karson Cribb. Mrs. Troupe is survived by her 3 children: Chad (Jackie) Troupe of Nashville, Georgia, Kimberly (Clay) Lott of Douglas, Georgia, and Selena West of Nashville, Georgia; 7 grandchildren: Carter Cribb, Conner West, Cain West, Garrett Troupe, Wyatt Troupe, Fisher Lott, and Ryley Troupe; 1 great grandchild, Auden Sears; 3 sisters: Charlotte Stone of Nashville, Georgia, Elaine Ammons of Tifton, Georgia, Gloria Heaten of Jacksonville, Florida; and her 2 beloved fur babies, Jimbo and Sadie. A number of nieces, nephews and extended family also survive. Mrs. Troupe’s family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM in the chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM, on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Bounds officiating and Mr. Clay Lott delivering her eulogy. Interment will follow in Willacoochee Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Josh Mercer, Carter Cribb, Mike Pate, Ronald Stone, Stephen Bryan, and Henry Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Garrett Troupe, Wyatt Troupe, Fisher Lott, and Cain West. In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Troupe's family requests that donations be made to the Coffee County Food Bank.
